Why We Built This Site
Colorado gives the public access to many court and county records, but Lake County records are not held in one master database. The Combined Court clerk handles District Court and County Court case files in Leadville. The Clerk and Recorder handles recorded documents and marriage or civil union licenses. The Sheriff's Office handles law-enforcement and detention records. Leadville Municipal Court handles city ordinance and municipal traffic matters. This site organizes those official routes by record type.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
